In this article, I&#8217;m going to show you the proper methods that you should be following in order to get your abs fitness up and get six pack abs fast.</p>
<p>Now to get ripped, you don&#8217;t need to go out and buy the next best abs fitness equipment. What is far more important, is lowering your body fat, and learning exactly how to do this. Even if you had the most muscly abs around, if there is a layer of body fat over your belly, you won&#8217;t be able to show them off! Therefore, you need to get your diet sorted. Cutting out the foods which are high in fat, is essential. Also, cut out the rubbish, processed foods and sweets such as cakes and biscuits. If you don&#8217;t, then you&#8217;re only adding to the layer of belly fat, and you won&#8217;t get the six pack you desire! Also, instead of eating three large meals a day, try spreading your meals out up to six smaller sized meals per day. This way, you&#8217;ll take out the snacking you do between meals, as you won&#8217;t feel as hungry!</p>
<p>When your diet is up to scratch, you need to have a solid workout routine in place. To get much better abs fitness and get a six pack quicker, aim to perform short, sharp and intense workouts. Jogging on a treadmill for hours on end is not the best way to do this. This is because this type of workout is not very intense, and doesn&#8217;t really work the body as much as other exercises. What a long cardio exercise also doesn&#8217;t do is help raise your metabolism. If you know how to raise your metabolism, then you&#8217;ll burn fat much quicker! The higher your metabolism is, the more fat your body will want to burn whilst resting! A workout, under an hour, that involves compound exercises which target lots of muscles, are not only super intense, but will help burn the fat so much quicker! This is because when you exercise, you burn fat from all over your body, and not just from one specific area.</p>
<p>Although strength training is great in improving abs fitness, it is also good to combine effective cardio alongside this. Cardio, such as swimming, is a great exercise. This is because swimming exercises your whole body, meaning all muscles are being involved and fat is being burned much quicker! When performing cardio however, I don&#8217;t mean spending hours on a treadmill. Cardio should, like strength training, be kept to short, high intense sessions. This will keep your body in a high fat burning state, and will also help to raise your metabolism.</p>
<p>By applying these three factors about getting a six pack, you will see your abs fitness rise like never before! All you need now is dedication. If you stay committed to a routine, and stay consistent with your meals, you will get six pack abs fast.<br />

There is no need for all this fancy gym equipment, strapping you into machines and pulling you this way and that. All you really need is a level floor. However, both floor and machine workouts will be taken into account. </p>
<p>Ensure you are focused and warmed up before you start any exercise. Also when doing floor work be sure to use a training mat for lower back support, working out on a hard floor can damage your back. </p>
<p>Basic Crunches: Lay on the floor with your knees raised a little, place your hands by your sides or behind your head, whatever feels comfortable. Now using your shoulders to lift your body off the floor toward your knees, start slowly, feel the abs tense as you come forward and back. There is no repetition limit here, so keep going until you fail. Do this exercise for 3-4 sets to failure; this should be a good start to get six pack abs fast.</p>
<p>Crunch Twist: If you would like to ad a twist to your crunches, you can enhance the basic crunch by, holding your hands behind your head with your elbows out. During the upstroke move your right elbow across to you left knee for 10 strokes, then across to the opposite knee with the left elbow another 10. After the 10 resume to basic crunches position for another 10, then repeat. Continue with the 3-4 set to failure with this technique.</p>
<p>Leg Raises: Start by lying flat on the floor, with your hands behind your head, then slowly lift your legs to about 8 inches from the floor and hold for 20 seconds. After the 20 seconds has elapsed, move your legs up another 8 inches and hold for another 20 seconds. The final step is to move your legs up once more to 45 degrees from the floor, for another 20 seconds, then rest. Repeat this exercise 3-4 times.</p>
<p>Plank: Lie face down on mat resting on the forearms; place the side of your hands on the floor in a fist shape. Push off the floor, raising your body onto your toes resting on the forearm and elbows. Keep your back flat (like a plank), in a straight line from head to feet. Tilt your pelvis and contract your abdominals to prevent your buttocks from sticking up in the air. Hold for 60 seconds, and repeat for 3-4 sets.<br />
If you are in the gym, using the crunch bench with the crunch techniques explained above is great, you will have excellent abs in no time. Remember to keep going to failure, this technique really does help the abs grow and tone in no time at all.</p>
<p>Crunch Machine: The crunch machine gives the same effect as the crunch bench; however you can add your own weights to it. Always remember when lifting weights, not to over do it. Place a weight on the crunch machine that you can lift comfortably. 20 repetitions should do it, now increase the weight a little. Attempt another set of reps, immediately after the weight increase. This time keep going to failure. After the first set to failure increase the weight again, by this time you should be feeling the burn. Repeat this process for 3-4 set after the initial 20 set warm up.</p>
<p>Leg Raise Apparatus: Assume the leg raise position on the leg raise frame. Start by slowly lifting your knees to your chest; once again repeat this process to failure. Repeat the knee raises for 3-4 sets. Enhance the workout by slowly lifting the legs up in an arcing motion without bending the knee and slowly lowering. Once again repeat this process to failure for 3-4 sets. You can also mix the two leg raise techniques together, by first starting with the knee raise for a warm up set. Them moving into the leg raise to get the burning sensation.</p>
<p>Working on your abs can be done any time, try to do an abs workout before every training session. Combine all the techniques you have learned above and amazing abs will be knocking on the door of your stomach very shortly to get six pack abs fast.<br />

<p> Let us start with some rules that will definitely help you on a faster track to muscle and tone development.  There are three top evil foods to avoid if you are truly serious about getting a set of six pack abs or any type of muscle tone. If you start to follow these simple rules, the road to getting six pack abs along with a leaner and healthier body will come quickly and more easily than you ever thought.  All those diet pills and machines cannnot  begin to help you unless you learn about the following:</p>
<p>1. Those heart clogging fats such as trans fats in any form of partially or fully hydrogenated oils will be the first of you concerns. Make sure you look for these types of fats in the foods you eat. Be aware that these evil, addicting fats are found especially those in drive-through fast food chainsIt is important to understand the science of trans fats which are commonly used in thousands of products &#8211; even so called healthy snacks. In the process of &#8220;hydrogenation&#8221; the vegetable oils are removed ad high temperatures and pressure using dissolved metals and hydrogen gas. Then these oils are vapor cleaned, bleached and deodorized. The chemical alteration of the liquid oil turns into semi-solid (partially hydrogenated) or fully hydrogenated as it cools off at room temperature. Hydrogenated oils are used commonly in processed types of packaged foods such as cookies, cakes, pies, donuts, cookies, peanut butter, salad dressings and butter to  bascially help extend the shelf life of the product. If you see “trans fat” or “hydrogenated oils” listed in the label ingredients, avoid them immediately and completely. Fried foods are always full with other junk and fillers, flavorings that are damaging and the trans fats that they contain are extremely high in calories. Frying destroys the essential fatty acids and essential nutrients. Here is what is really important to realize:  trans fats actually help trigger the mind and body to crave more fatty foods &#8211; did you ever notice how addicting fast food becomes. These bad lipo proteins raise low-density  bad cholesterol that causes inflammation within the entire body, increasing the  high cholesterol that will lead to clogged arteries, heart disease, diabetes and sometimes cancer. </p>
<p>2. Stay away from processed sugar and corn syrup which in fact turns into fat cells more quickly than any other sweeteners. High fructose corn syrup is common in many bad foods like cheap chocolate bars, candies,  sodas, donuts, pastries, fruit juices and cereals. Beware of glucose, sucrose, dextrose, maltose and any other words ending &#8220;ose&#8221;. All types of other fancy names mean the same thing: bad sugars. Any type of syrup will usually be high fructose corn syrup and is  widely used to sweeten soft drinks, fruit juices, tomato sauce, cereals, cakes, biscuits, sauces, dressings, etc. It is the sweetener which is used in many types of foods, due to the low cost. Refined sugar and corn syrup, high fructose, are loaded with empty calories that will never quite satisfy your appetite. They contain absolutely no nutrients.  Both cause fluctuations in your levels of blood sugar and insulin, while it prevents fat burning and sorry to say promotes more fat storage. These types of sugars cause disease and injure your body such as diabetes, cancer, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity (ADHD), osteoporosis, growth of fungi and heart disease.</p>
<p> 3. White bread (white flour) is totally bad as it creates more fat easily in your body when consumed &#8211; pizza, crackers, french breads, etc. are all examples of why we get fat when we consumer these items.  White flour which is a refined carbohydrate is often used to make white bread, cookies, donuts, bagels, noodles, some cereals, crackers, pastries and is the worst culprit of why our nation is quickly gaining weight. During the processing of whole grains into white flour,  all the mineral deposits and fiber have been eliminated. The effects of what refined carbohydrates do to our blood sugar and insulin levels are similar to those of refined sugar (see the explanation above in #2). Therefore, continually stay with and eat products made with 100% whole grains &#8211; like whole grain cereals and breads. If you want to keep the belly fat off, steer away from those boxed snacks and doughnuts, snack bars and breads as much and as often as you can. You have to burn the fat for the muscles to show! In reality, you will be the owner of a nice set of six pack abdominals, hidden underneath your tummy fat! If you feel with your fingers, you will actually discover that the muscles are there, hidden beneath the fat layer.</p>
<p>You might be surprised to notice that these exercises are not really concentrating on the abdominal muscles. They are very effective to get rid of body fat while at the same time helping you to build muscle. I am doing these exercises in an interval format.Interval training is much more interesting, and is very effective for getting rid of body fat real fast and  get six pack abs fast.</p>
<p>a). Get into a push-up position, clenching 2 dumbbells of your preferred weight in your fists. Now lift one arm until your fist clenching the dumbbell is in line with your chest. You will now discover that you will have to stabilize your body with the other arm &#8211; making those abs work overtime. Now alternate your arms. so that the other one comes up parallel with your chest. if you are not used to this type of exercise, you can alternate for six to eight times. When finished with the workout,take a break for about sixty seconds.</p>
<p>I was very excited with this new facts that I discovered and started my own research for an efficient workout to burn fat and develop my abs simultaneously. I was also looking for a short but effective workout. So please let me introduce you to my favorite lower ab workout. I am exercising 3 times a week ensuring that I maintain my flat stomach.</p>
<p>Workout #1: &#8211; (making use of dumbbells &amp; bar bell)</p>
<p>Now repeat the above routine 3 to 4 times. As you improve with the exercises, you can increase the amount of repetitions. For illustrations of Workout 1 exercises for abs<br />

<p>Want to burn even more fat and get results faster? Well, then have a 5 to 10 minute rest and continue with the following:</p>

<p>b). With your legs slightly apart, stand up straight. Support a bar bell of your preferred weight on the front of your shoulders. Hold it in position with your crossed arms. Make sure that you are comfortable with stabilizing the barbell in position. Now do six to eight squats &#8211; up and down with the weight resting on your front shoulders. Again, rest for about 60 seconds after completion of this exercise.</p>
<p>b). Now speed up and run at a comfortable speed for about a minute.</p>
<p>d). Now run as fast as you can for 60 seconds.<br />
e). End by walking fast for a minute and 30 seconds.</p>
<p>c). This exercise is called the Mountain climber: Assume the push-up position. Now kick your one leg forward, ensuring that your knee &amp; foot stops beneath your chest. Alternate with both legs like this for 6 to 8 reps and then rest for a minute or so.</p>
<p>Workout #2: &#8211; (Short Run &amp; walk exercise)</p>
<p>d). Run at a fast pace for about 1 minute</p>
<p>This is the end of this interval set, and now you can walk slowly for about 30 to 60 seconds, before repeating this exercise again. Do this for about 3 to 4 times in the beginning for an intense 20 minute workout.</p>
<p>When you are new to exercising, make sure that you start slow in the beginning. If you have any medical conditions, please consult with your doctor ensuring that it will be safe for you to do the workouts.</p>
<p>e). End by walking at a fast pace for about 1 minute, 30 sec&#8217;s</p>
<p>You can even do this running workout on a treadmill, or change it into a paddling exercise on a bicycle!</p>
